PULLMAN, WA–Pullman Regional Hospital’s Board of Commissioners is seeking to fill a vacant board position, previously held by Margaret Werre. Werre served on the board for five years and will be moving out of the area with her family; her last day of service was July 31st, 2022.

Pullman Regional Hospital Board of Commissioners, to the hospital’s address: 835 SE Bishop Blvd. Pullman, WA 99163 by September 28, 2022.
To be eligible, applicants must be a registered voter, live in the hospital district (Pullman city limits) and cannot be a hospital employee.
The board will hold a special meeting on October 12, 2022 to interview candidates and potentially appoint a new commissioner. The appointee must file a Personal Financial Affairs statement with the Washington State Public Disclosure Commission, and they must run for the position in the November 2023 election.
The Pullman Regional Hospital Board of Commissioners, an elected body, is legally responsible for overseeing hospital district policies and organization with respect to the district’s operation, including the delivery of quality patient care and meeting community healthcare needs. Terms are six years. Commissioners meet monthly in-person at Pullman Regional Hospital with an option to also participate through Zoom. All board meetings are open to the public.
