Pullman, WA—The Pullman Regional Hospital CEO Selection Committee has chosen four finalists to move forward in the selection process for the hospital’s next Chief Executive Officer.

Scheduled throughout the month of March, each finalist will meet with six different panels with representatives from the hospital leadership and staff, Pullman Regional Hospital Foundation, physicians, WSU, Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, the City of Pullman, Pullman School District, the Chamber of Commerce, and others; panel members will provide feedback to the Selection Committee.

The hospital initiated the CEO Succession Plan in February 2021, following Scott Adams’ announcement of his plans to retire in December of 2022—which will mark 30 years serving as the hospital’s CEO. Adams will serve in an advisory and support role for six months after a new CEO is named.

“The process we’ve followed is helping us find a qualified candidate who supports a vision for a self-sustaining, patient and employee-focused, award-winning hospital,” said Tricia Grantham, Selection Committee Chair and Vice President of the Pullman Regional Hospital Board of Commissioners. “We intend to announce our CEO designate in April.”

Updates on the CEO Succession Plan will continue to be discussed during monthly Board of Commissioner meetings, which are open to the public. Meeting dates, zoom links and agendas can be found online: pullmanregional.org/hospital-board
