Pullman, WA—Stacey Swift has been named Chair of the Pullman Regional Hospital Women’s Leadership Guild, a volunteer-led group of more than 40 women philanthropists who support the hospital’s Foundation and regional non-profits through grant-making.

Swift joined the Guild in 2017 and has served on the Guild’s board since 2018; she was appointed to Chair in April of 2023.

Swift is Vice President Branch Manager for Umpqua Bank in Pullman and has fourteen years of experience in banking and leading teams. As a speaker for the regional Smart Women Smart Money conference, she spoke about work/life balance through her experience as a working mom of three kids. Swift also serves on the board of the Rotary Club of Pullman as Vocation Committee leader and on the allocations committee of the United Way of Whitman County and has coached 10U Palouse Havoc softball for the past three years. She and her husband, Kiall, grew up in Whitman County.  Kiall helps run the multigenerational family farm in Lamont while working as a CPA at Presnell Gage.

“We are here because we believe in the value of having access to top medical services and how that connects to and serves our growth as a community,” says Swift of her service with the Women’s Leadership Guild. “We are here to learn about and give back to the agencies serving women and children in our area. We are here to network and grow together with our community and non-profits in the area. By pooling my giving with others, I know I’ve helped make a significant impact. I want to show others this concept in action through our membership and meaningful events.”

Girlfriends Gather is the Guild’s signature annual event and will be held Tuesday, May 16 at the WSU Brelsford Visitor Center, beginning at 6 pm. All $100 attendee contributions will be pooled and given away that evening to one regional non-profit. “I love this event; the energy in the room is palpable,” says Swift. “Every $100 gift adds to the impact. One hundred women contributing $100 dollars means a $10,000 gift—that is truly empowering! If you want to see what the Guild is all about, register for Girlfriends Gather.”
