The Women’s Leadership Guild is now accepting grant applications from regional non-profit agencies dedicated to supporting women’s and children’s health and wellness. The application deadline is August 1st, and applications can be found online at www.pullmanregional.org/wlg.

In honor of the Guild’s 5-year anniversary, grant awards will be increased to $5,000.

“What better way to celebrate five years of building meaningful membership and empowering women and children, than to increase our grant awards,” said Angie Feuerstein, chair of the Women’s Leadership Guild. “To me, this is the most rewarding aspect of the Guild—getting finances in the hands of competent and enthusiastic community non-profits, making a difference.”

The Women’s Leadership Guild—established in 2015—empowers regional non-profit agencies in support of women’s and children’s health and wellness and Pullman Regional Hospital’s highest needs through membership contributions.

Guild members raised and awarded $16,000 through last year’s grant cycle, and supported the Albion Food Pantry, Jefferson Elementary School Outdoor Learning Lab and Garden, Northwest Cancer Foundation of Hope, Palouse Habitat for Humanity, Palouse School Food Pantry, Pullman Child Welfare and Pullman Food Bank, Pullman Schools Pantry Program, and Whitman County Friends of CASA, in addition to Pullman Regional Hospital’s highest needs.

The 47-member Guild is chaired by Angie Feuerstein and includes board members Ashley Alred, Karlene Beaumont, Susie Skavdahl, and Stacey Swift.
