PULLMAN, WA – This year, the Auto Dealers for Health program celebrates ten years of partnership with Wysup Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram and Chipman & Taylor Chevrolet dealerships. Since 2012, the program has raised more than $250,000 in funds for Pullman Regional Hospital.
For ten consecutive years, Michael Wysup, owner of Wysup Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram and Fran Amend, owner of Chipman & Taylor Chevrolet, have supported the hospital through Auto Dealers for Health. With every new or used car ordered or purchased from these two local dealerships in August, $100 is donated to the hospital.
Inspired by his mentor in the car sales industry—Jamie Will of Titus-Will auto group in Tacoma, WA— Wysup approached the hospital with an idea to team up with local dealerships and the hospital. Ten years later, Chipman & Taylor Chevrolet and Wysup Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram have raised more than $250,000.
“What Michael and Fran started, and continue to support, has made an indelible impact on patient care,” said Scott Adams, Pullman Regional Hospital CEO. “Over the years, the Auto Dealers for Health program has supported 3D mammography equipment for faster and more accurate detection of breast cancer, the construction of an additional operating room, expansion of our emergency department, and state-of-the-art surgical robotic technology. People like the Wysup Family, Fran and the employees at the dealerships make it possible for us to do extraordinary things for our community.”
