Pullman, WA—Board-Certified Gastroenterologist Ann Marie Schreiber, DO, has joined Pullman Surgical Associates, Pullman Regional Hospital’s general surgery and endoscopy practice.
Dr. Schreiber’s ten years of specialized experience is helping expand gastrointestinal services with current Gastrointestinal Specialist Jo Taniguchi, ARNP. Dr. Schreiber is open to adult patient referrals for general gastrointestinal care and treatment for conditions such as ulcerative colitis, irritable bowel syndrome, acid reflux, Crohn’s disease, pancreatic issues, liver disease, chronic abdominal discomfort, constipation, and diarrhea; she also performs colonoscopies for routine screenings and diagnostic tests.
Dr. Schreiber enjoys the field of gastroenterology because of the opportunity to work with patients before, during and after treatment. “It’s the perfect mix of medicine and procedures. I also enjoy the preventative care aspect; I get to intervene and help prevent cancers, not just treat once they’ve formed,” says Dr. Schreiber.
Dr. Schreiber earned an undergraduate degree from the University of Kansas in Fine Arts, and a post-baccalaureate from San Francisco State University. She attended Medical School, did her Internal Medicine residency and fellowship in Gastroenterology at Michigan State University.
Previous to Pullman, Dr. Schreiber has worked in Grand Blanc MI; Tacoma, WA; and Everett, WA; she will continue to support patients through the Western Washington Medical Group based in Everett, WA.
Outside of work, Dr. Schreiber enjoys spending time with her family, boating, hiking, and enjoying the outdoors.
