PULLMAN, WA–Pullman Regional Hospital is expanding access to specialized urologic care with the addition of board-certified urologist Dr. Carl Walker to Palouse Urology Center.

Dr. Walker brings nearly three decades of clinical experience, having practiced as a board-certified urologist since 1999. He joined Palouse Urology in 2026, further strengthening local access to comprehensive men’s health and general urology services.

Dr. Walker completed his undergraduate studies at Stanford University and earned his medical degree before completing his internship and six-year residency in general surgery and urology at the University of California San Diego School of Medicine. He discovered his passion for urology during a third-year medical school rotation at a VA hospital in San Diego under the mentorship of a retired Naval officer.

With 29 years of experience, Dr. Walker specializes in the treatment of prostate cancer, bladder diseases and infections, kidney stones and infections, voiding dysfunction, and no-scalpel vasectomies. He also performs advanced procedures including Aquablation therapy, UroLift, and sacral neuromodulation.

His philosophy of care centers on building meaningful relationships with patients and taking a holistic approach to men’s health and wellness. Dr. Walker emphasizes active listening and partnership, ensuring patients feel supported as they work together to improve quality of life and long-term health outcomes.

Dr. Walker most recently practiced at Spokane Urology and resides in the Coeur d’Alene area. Outside of work, he enjoys watching college football and basketball, playing tennis and pickleball, mountain biking, hiking, and paddle boarding.

Dr. Walker is accepting new patients and has appointment availability during the second and fourth weeks of each month.
