PULLMAN, WA— At the annual June end-of-year celebration, the Pullman Regional Hospital Foundation honored outgoing members Karlene Beaumont, Adrian Green, Tony Poston, and Amy Rogers. Poston and Rogers each served for nine years; Beaumont served for six, with three in the role as Foundation Board President. Green also served for six years, five of which as Board Treasurer.
The board also re-elected Wayne Druffel as the Foundation Board President and elected board members Pete Chittenden as Vice President and Karin Neuenschwander as Treasurer.
Two new members, Kris Prieur and Courtney Turnbaugh were elected as the newest board members.
Kris Prieur, of Pullman, WA, is a former professional higher education fundraiser and has provided consulting in the fundraising realm for over 20 years. She was previously at the WSU Foundation, and was part of their first capital campaign, raising over $275 million. Kris is actively involved in Circles of Caring and oversees their grant proposal and submission program.
Courtney Turnbaugh, of Pullman, WA and Lewiston, ID, works in the pharmaceutical industry leading a team that conducts pretrial studies. She recently moved to Pullman, WA from Seattle, but grew up in Lewiston and previously worked as a pharmacy tech at Pullman Regional Hospital. Turnbaugh served on the 2025 Pullman Regional Hospital Foundation Gala planning committee and volunteered at various hospital fundraising events in 2024.
The Board of Directors for the Pullman Regional Hospital Foundation–a non-profit charity–is composed of sixteen volunteers. During their three-year term, Directors provide management and stewardship over philanthropic gifts made to Pullman Regional Hospital, which benefit Pullman Regional’s patients and contribute to the overall health of the region.
About the Pullman Regional Hospital Foundation
The Pullman Regional Hospital Foundation Board of Directors is governed by volunteers, committed to continuing the hospital’s excellence in care and service. The Foundation Board is led by President Wayne Druffel, Vice President Pete Chittenden and Treasurer Karin Neuenschwander. Directors are eligible for two consecutive three-year terms.
The Foundation supports Pullman Regional Hospital’s annual priority projects, as well as long-term programs, including the Family Medicine Residency Program, a partnership with WSU’s Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine and the Regional High School Athletic Training Program, a partnership with local high schools. Unlike many charities, the Pullman Regional Hospital Foundation does not charge an administrative fee, which means 100% of donations support projects and programs. The Foundation accepts various gift types, including cash, 5-year pledges, endowments and planned gifts, in partnership with the Planned Giving Advisory Council, chaired by Jeff Feuerstein.
