    PULLMAN, WA—Pullman Regional Hospital’s Board of Commissioners is seeking to fill a vacant board position for a 6-year term on the seven-person board. C. Michael Murphy, MD has served on the board since 2000; his last day of service was May 4, 2023.

     

    The deadline for eligible candidates to apply has been extended to July 10, 2023. Those interested should send a letter of interest and resume or CV to Jeff Elbracht, Pullman Regional Hospital Board of Commissioners President, to the hospital's address: 835 SE Bishop Blvd. Pullman, WA 99163

     

    To be eligible, an applicant must be a registered voter, live in the hospital district (Pullman city limits) and cannot be a hospital employee.

     

    The board will hold a special meeting on July 19 to interview candidates and potentially appoint a new commissioner. The appointee must file a Personal Financial Affairs Statement with the Public Disclosure Commission, and they could participate in the November 2023 election by filing in August.

     

    The Pullman Regional Hospital Board of Commissioners, an elected body, is legally responsible for overseeing hospital district policies and organization with respect to the district’s operation, including the delivery of quality patient care and meeting community healthcare needs. Commissioners meet monthly at Pullman Regional Hospital; board meetings are open to the public.
