Pullman Regional Hospital welcomed its New Year's baby, Persephone Hoem, at 8:47 p.m. on January 1, 2026.
At 8 pounds 6 ounces, Persephone was delivered by Dr. Nigel Campbell. Her angelic countenance complements her perfect features as a goddess of Spring.
Parents Paige and Patrick enjoy the readings of Lore Olympus and the reimagination of Greek mythology. The dual goddess was the inspiration for naming their little queen, who joins the family with eight siblings.
Paige and Patrick found their way to Pullman from Coeur d'Alene, loving the farm fields and natural beauty of the Palouse.
The BirthPlace at Pullman Regional has been a supportive and peaceful experience for the Hoem family. “Everyone has been so kind and helpful, and we've been so well taken care of,” said Paige.
