Brittany's Story

Brittany's Story

To say that Matt and Brittany Babino, Lewiston, have ties to Pullman Regional Hospital is an understatement.  With a cousin who is a nurse at Pullman Regional, a grandfather who used to work at the hospital when it was on the WSU campus and another cousin who had the first baby of the 2020 New Year at BirthPlace, the Babino family chooses Pullman Regional Hospital to work and receive care.

Brittany continues that tradition as she delivered her baby daughter, Andie, at BirthPlace on December 22, 2019.  This was the second baby she’s had at Pullman Regional Hospital. Son Ashton Babino was welcomed to the world at Pullman three years ago.

“It’s worth the drive for us,” said Brittany, who along with her husband attended BirthPlace classes at Pullman Regional Hospital and was fortunate to have the same nurse, Kelsie, help in the delivery of both her children.

As a patient of Moscow-Pullman OB/GYN, Brittany said, “We just really prefer Pullman Regional Hospital. The facility is so nice and we like that labor, delivery and recovery all happen in one room.”

Brittany said she and her husband are not sure about a third child but “If we do, we’ll definitely deliver at Pullman again.”
