Giving the gift of grain
We live in an area of bountiful harvests. Now there’s a way for farmers to help support the health of our community through the gift of their unsold grain.
Gifts of Grain is a program in which grain or other commodity crops from unsold inventory produced in the preceding year is donated to benefit Pullman Regional Hospital (PRH) Foundation. The grain is simply transferred by storage or a notarized letter, and the local elevator sells the grain on behalf of the PRH Foundation. The elevator will send the benefactor’s name, contact information and a description of the donation to the PRH Foundation.
As with other gifts to the Foundation, the benefactor can choose to give to a specific area of need. Suggestions for designated areas of benefit include the Annual Giving for Excellence Fund Drive, the Endowment for Quality & Access, and Medical Technology.
