For Tina Taylor Amend and her son Kayden, Dr. Ed Tingstad is an example of excellence. When Kayden, 10 years old, fell and hurt his arm while playing, mom took him to Pullman Regional Hospital. On the way to the Emergency Department, they saw friend and physician Dr. Tingstad in the hallway. Dr. Tingstad was on his way out of the office at the end of a long day. He said, “Let’s go take a look at it right now.” Dr. Tingstad brought them back to his office and looked at the x-ray on his own free time to discover it was indeed broken and wrapped him in a soft cast right then to get it set.
Tina and Kayden are grateful. “Kayden is so excited to get his cast off in time for summer,” Tina said. “We are so fortunate to have Dr. Tingstad and other caring physicians who go above and beyond to care for us.”
